Leadership & Staff

Jim Mailloux, Senior Pastor

Jim Mailloux (pronounced “May – loo”) grew up near Boston. He received Christ in 1973, while attending the Fellowship Bible Church in North Andover, MA. He attended Bob Jones University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education with a voice proficiency. While in college, he met and married Jill, a northwest native. After graduating, they settled in Tacoma, Washington in 1992 where Jim became the Music Director at Southside Baptist Church in 1993 and later Associate Pastor in 1997. Jim and Jill have seven children; 3 biological and have adopted 4 children from the foster care system of Washington state. They currently reside in West Richland.

Pastor Jim first came on staff as the Worship and Arts Pastor in 2000. Three years later, it became clear to the church that God had called him to become the Senior Pastor. Pastor Jim has been amazed to see how God prepares and equips all believers to serve Him. God has allowed Pastor Jim to use music and now preaching and teaching to minister to the body of Christ – that the believer might be stirred to live a holier life, full of joy in God’s presence, by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is excited about what God is doing in The First Family.

Pastor Jim’s areas of responsibility include Adult Discipleship, Counseling, Hospital Visitation, Men’s Ministry, Wedding Planning, and Worship Service Preaching. Contact Pastor Jim.
